1. Privacy Policy & Data Handling

On-Device Engine & Sandboxed Storage

All document processing — including optical character recognition (OCR), edge-detection scanning, multi-format conversion (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Markdown, Text to PDF), voice recording, audio transcription, and PDF page merging/splitting — executes locally within the app sandbox.

No Telemetry or Remote Logging

MovoPDF does not incorporate analytics SDKs, crash report collectors, ad networks, tracking cookies, or tracking beacons. No telemetry data or user behavior metrics are captured or sent to external servers.

Device Hardware & Permissions

Camera and microphone hardware permissions are requested only when you actively trigger camera scanning or voice recording features. Permission access is used strictly at the moment of execution and never in the background.

Secure Vault & Multi-Pass Shredding

Files moved to the Secure Vault are encrypted on-disk using industry-standard AES cryptography paired with PBKDF2/SHA-256 key derivation. Permanent file deletions utilize cryptographic multi-pass byte shredding before physical unlinking.

Data Erasure & User Control

You hold complete control over your local data. You can delete individual documents at any time or use the “Erase All Local Data” option in Settings to wipe all sandboxed storage immediately.

2. Terms of Service & License

Acceptance & License

By downloading, installing, or using MovoPDF, you agree to these Terms. Movofo Software grants you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to use the application in accordance with applicable laws.

Complete Content Ownership

You retain 100% full intellectual property ownership, copyright, and title to all documents, images, voice notes, signatures, annotations, and metadata processed or stored through MovoPDF. Movofo Software claims no rights or ownership over your content.

MovoPDF is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Movofo Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
